Healing Canker Sores Quickly & Easily

< 1 minute read

I know you hate canker sores.

I do too.

So I know how it feels when you have one come up at the most opportune time. Ugh.

Since I’ve tossed man-made medication, I’ve done some research on how to prevent or cure these pesky canker sores.

And the cure is so simple, cheap, and easy. And it works.

I can’t believe there are so many products out there trying to convince you to buy it when you can use a simple ingredient you probably already have at home!

The solution?

Baking soda.

Yup. Just plain ol’ baking soda. Just scoop some baking soda with your finger (wash your hands first!) and dab some directly onto the canker sore. Repeat every 6 to 12 hours. It’ll be gone in no time.

Now be careful because baking soda is abrasive. So don’t use too much or for too long. Otherwise, you’ll have a raw spot in your gums.

P.S. Canker sores are NOT cold sores, which is caused by the herpes simplex type 1 virus. Canker sores are usually caused by stress, too much citrus or acidic food, or injury caused by something sharp. If you have them frequently, keep a diary of what you ate/did before the canker sore came up and you’ll notice a pattern. With this knowledge, you can make changes to prevent future ones!
